Refurbishment of a listed property and roof conversion as a GU service
The conversion of a former riding hall into a residential building turned out to be a fundamental and holistic restoration of the building, taking into account the use of renewable energies.
In the course of this, apartments with the highest living quality were created.
18 apartments were built: Eight of them are at ground level with terraces and are designed barrier-free. Ten further maisonette apartments are located on the upper and top floors of the building and also have a roof terrace. All units are accessed via the atrium, which extends from the west to the east gable. Its ridge glazing allows natural lighting in this area. Furthermore, a complete basement was created below the apartments.
