Roof conversion of a listed property - 2nd construction phase
Zur Beschaffung neuen Wohnraums in Berlin-Steglitz wurde in einem Mietshaus mit rund 3.000 m² Grundfläche und 4.500 m² Dachfläche ein Dachgeschoss mit 23 neuen Wohneinheiten ausgebaut. Dafür hat ARIKON die Rohbau-, Zimmerer- und Dachdeckerarbeiten übernommen.
The 100-year-old ceiling beams were structurally and energetically renovated. In the process, importance was attached to constructive wood protection. The planned roof extension was carried out as discreetly as possible in order to preserve the listed building fabric as far as possible.
Furthermore, extensive measures were taken to comply with fire safety regulations.
A special feature were the numerous dormers clad in zinc sheeting.
