Roof renovation of an elementary school

The roof of the elementary school an den Püttbergen, in the green district of Treptow-Köpenick, was re-roofed in the course of extensive renovation work. The roof area amounts to over 3,000 m². Executing company: ARIKON Sanierungsbau GmbH.

A special feature was the roof truss. In the unused roof area, a black area had to be created due to outgassing pollutants from the roofing association.

The newly boarded dormer structures were integrated into the existing roof bond and then framed in the high-quality pre-patinated zinc sheet. The hipped dormers received the roof in the standing seam covering.

Likewise, the characteristic clock tower with the gilded clock was clad with standing seam panels.
