At ARIKON Bau AG, the commitment to social projects based on good tradition is an integral part of the corporate philosophy. And in difficult times the support of people in need is particularly important. Currently the ambulant children's hospice service "NORA" of the Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. was pleased to receive a donation of 3,000 EUR from ARIKON. Dirk Rommel, Chief Executive Officer ARIKON AG (left in the picture), and Dierk Homeyer, Chief Communication and Development Manager ARIKON AG, presented the symbolic cheque first of all "virtually" due to the corona contact block.
Mandy Lehmann, executive committee spokeswoman of the Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. | regional association Oderland-Spree, spoke of a "great sign in this challenging time". The money will be used to support the project "Families in Need and Grief". Especially families with sick children often lack financial means, since the parents cannot pursue a regular job due to the intensive care of the sick children. In addition, medical treatments, therapies and aids are very cost-intensive.
The 3,000 EUR donation from ARIKON will be used specifically for these families; for example, to enable them to take short vacations or to accompany them in their grief work.
"For us as a successful company, social commitment is part of our self-image. In the project "ambulant children's hospice service "NORA", ARIKON help arrives directly where it is urgently needed. If we can give the families a small relief in their difficult situation with our support, we are very happy", says Dierk Homeyer.
