ARIKON IS AN ASSOCIATED PARTNER OF BIMKIT
PROJECT MAKES KI AND CLOUD TECHNOLOGIES USABLE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY
As-built models are an essential basis for the implementation of digital processes in the planning, construction and operation of buildings. With the BIMKIT project, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection is promoting the modelling of existing buildings and infrastructure structures using artificial intelligence to generate digital twins. As an associated partner, the ARIKON Group is supporting the project work in the evaluation of services and demonstrators that have already been developed.
Dr Alexander Stenzer, Managing Director of AriInfoWare GmbH, explains: "We expect the evaluation to provide innovative impetus for the development of new services, which will ultimately also benefit our customers."
AriInfoWare GmbH, a subsidiary of the Arikon Group, already offers MonArch, a knowledge-based information and property management system. The MonArch system enables the structured, spatial, digital documentation of structural cultural assets, historical buildings, archaeological sites, existing buildings and urban areas.
Individual buildings as well as entire properties or areas are visualised in the form of 2D plans, 3D models or point clouds, which can be used for visual navigation of the data. MonArch is based on a graph data model, which today plays a central role in the development of AI as background knowledge and a source of training data.
